Meet the Pastor - Mickel Jenkins
Mickel Jenkins is a product of Toledo, Oh. Educated in public schools and has earned his BA in Theology and his Masters in Pastoral ministry at Oakwood University located in Huntsville, Alabama. He has been a truck driver for more than 30 years. While driving, he received a call from the Lord to preach the gospel. Since receiving the call, he has preached in numerous churches in Ohio, Michigan, Alabama, Tennessee, Florida, Texas, New York, and California, with a deep passion of winning lost soul for Christ. He has served in various ministerial capacities, including hospital, Nursing home and prison ministries. He is the father of four children and eight grandchildren. Elder Jenkins only wants to be remembered as a man who is totally committed to serving God until his last breath. His favorite Bible text is Romans 8: 18, For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. His Anthem is “Your Grace and Mercy,” by the Mississippi Mass Choir. He says, "all he wants to do is God’s will."
